I am not sure that this yarn does justice to the monkeys. I'm not very far along, but wanted an opinion. I'm using Socka Color and size 1 needles. I wish there had been more blue in the stripes and if I should have used a plain yarn to show the pattern better. How is everyone coming along with their socks? Sheila.

I think a less busy yarn pattern does better on the Monkey socks. I started with a Lorna's Laces color (Blackwatch), but it didn't look nice at all.
I'll be using a plainer color once I get started.
